Materials Required – Necessary ingredients to make Shahi Paneer Recipe

Paneer – 250 grams
Tomatoes – 4-5 Medium Size
Onions – 3-4 large
Cashews – 1/2 cups
Coriander Powder – 2 Tablespoons
Red Kashmiri Chilli – 1/2 Tablespoon
Salt to taste
Long (cloves)-2
Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 Tablespoon
Cumin seeds – 3/4 teaspoons
Whole red chili – 2
Green Chillies – 2 Total
Paneer Masala – 1 Tablespoon
Cardamom powder – quarter spoon

Method of Making Shahi Paneer Recipe – How To Make Shahi Paneer:

1. First, soak the cashews for half an hour in water. Cut the paneer into slightly larger pieces. To make a separate paste of tomatoes and onions, cut the tomatoes into large pieces and make a paste in the mixer. Cut the onion into a mixer and make a paste also.

2. After adding cashew nuts, add 2 spoons of water and make cashew paste in the mixer.

3. Now add 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan, heat it and fry cumin seeds in hot oil.

4. After the cumin seeds, add black pepper powder, cardamom powder, fry for 1 minute and add onion paste and cook on low heat until the oil floats.

5. Now add tomato paste, green chilies, whole red chili and cook for 3-4 minutes. After that add cashew paste and cook it for 3-4 minutes.

6. Now add turmeric, chili, salt, coriander powder and mix it for 1-2 minutes. Mix half or a glass of water and cook for 5 minutes.

7. Now mix the paneer in it and cover it again for 5 minutes so that spices can be well mixed in paneer. After 5 minutes, add a spoon of paneer masala and 2 teaspoons fresh cream.

8. Cook for 2 minutes and turn off the gas and prepare the vegetable.

9. Serve Shahi Paneer with rice, paratha, naan, bread etc.

Things to remember – Shahi Paneer Recipe

1. If you do not like onions, you skip it.

2. You can add water as per your requirement of consistency of gravy.

3. You can grate tomatoes and onions instead of making their paste in mixer.

4. If you want to fry the paneer, then heat oil in the pan separately and fry it till brown and put it in the vegetable.
